Wasn't at Briar Hill last weekend but I've been tracking reports from that site for about two years now. The shadow figure sightings cluster around the east wing corridor almost every time, which at this point can't just be coincidence.
What I'd want to know is whether it held a defined humanoid shape or whether it was more of a peripheral smear that disappeared when looked at directly. Those are two very different phenomena mechanistically speaking. The former tends to correlate with residual hauntings tied to specific emotional imprints, the latter is more consistent with what researchers loosely call a sentinel presence, something actively aware of the observer.
Did anyone have any equipment running? Even basic EMF would give us something to cross-reference against the visual. I've done three sessions at similar decommissioned medical facilities in the North West and the electromagnetic baseline in those buildings is genuinely unusual, old wiring, structural metals, all sorts of variables you have to account for before you start attributing readings to anything paranormal.
Really want to hear the full account from whoever was actually there.
