Never had the lost time thing myself but I've had something similar-ish. Woke up about 3am once and there was this tall dark shape just standing near the wardrobe. No features, nothing, just this elongated silhouette that was definitely taller than my wardrobe door. Didn't move. I was absolutely frozen, couldn't speak or anything, and then I just... fell back asleep instantly like a switch flipped. Didn't feel natural at all.
No lost time that I know of but who knows what happened between falling asleep and waking up the next morning.
Probably sleep paralysis, thats the sensible explanation and I know that. But the "switch flipped" feeling is what gets me - I didn't drift off, it was instant. Like something just turned me off.
Anyone else get that sudden involuntary sleep thing rather than actually losing time? Wondering if its a related phenomenon or completely seperate.
