Saw this yesterday and its been rattling around my head since. Three hours on a Tuesday afternoon in flat open farmland - there's nowhere to hide and nothing to explain a gap like that. The detail about his dogs refusing to go near the north field afterwards is the bit that got me, animals don't lie about that sort of thing.
Been looking into similar cases from that region going back to the 80s and Nebraska keeps coming up more than people realise. Something about the geography maybe, or whatever's underneath it.
Anyone got a link to the original report? The one I found seemed like a secondhand retelling and I'd rather see his actual account before drawing conclusions. Would love to know if there was any physical trace evidence or if he had any unusual dreams in the days after - that's often where the real detail hides.
