Barstow keeps coming up doesn't it. Third time this month I've seen someone mention that corridor in California in relation to unexplained craft. Makes you wonder if there's something about the geography out there, desert regions seem to attract this kind of activity disproportionately compared to anywhere else.
I'm over in Derbyshire so I obviously wasn't there last Thursday, but I'd love to hear more detail from you. What time was it, rough direction it was travelling, any sound or completely silent? The silent ones are the ones that really get me going because conventional aircraft in my experience always leave some kind of noise signature even at altitude.
We had something similar near the Peak District back in 2019 that a handful of locals reported independently and the silence was the thing everyone kept coming back to. Different continent, different landscape, but some of these accounts have a real consistency to them that's hard to dismiss.
