Didnt see it personally but my mate who drives lorries through the night reckons he spotted something similar over the Scottish borders about a fortnight ago - formation of lights moving in near perfect sync then just gone. No sound, no trail, nothing. He's about as romantic as a brick wall so he's not the type to make stuff up. Anyone got footage of the Texas thing or are we just trading ghost stories again?
Did anyone else see that weird light formation over rural Texas last Thursday night?
@HauntedWarwickshire your mate needs to get the exact coordinates and time logged down before the memory degrades, that's the first thing people always neglect.
What direction was the formation travelling? That's the detail that usually separates something genuinely odd from chinese lanterns or military exercises. I've had three separate sightings reported to me from Dartmoor in the last couple of years and the ones that turn out to be interesting all share the same characteristic - the lights maintain formation during directional changes. Lanterns obviously can't do that in any kind of wind.
Has he reported it anywhere official? MUFON will log it even for UK sightings and it helps build a picture if other witnesses were out on that same stretch of road that night.
