Bit of an odd one to ask here seeing as I'm in Yorkshire and obviously nowhere near Phoenix, but I'm genuinely curious about something related. I've been going back through reports of triangular formations over the last few years and there's a recurring pattern where witnesses describe the lights doing a very slow rotation before going completely stationary. Did anyone in Phoenix notice that? Or did these just hold a fixed position the whole time?
The reason I ask is I've been cross-referencing similar sightings over the UK Midlands from 2019 and the rotation behaviour keeps coming up. Trying to work out if its a consistent feature or just how different observers describe teh same static object. Any detailed accounts of movement would be really helpful, even small details like whether the lights pulsed or stayed constant.
