Bit off topic but can I ask something - do sightings like this ever get caught on regular home security cameras? I've got one of them ring doorbell things pointing at the street and I've been wondering if its worth checking old footage after reports like this come in. I'm nowhere near Phoenix (I'm in Leeds) but we had something odd over our area a few weeks back, a few neighbours mentioned strange lights and I didn't think to check the camera until days later and the footage had already overwritten itself. Gutted about that. So now I'm wondering what the best practice is for people who want to actually capture this stuff. Do you lot actively monitor your cameras or just check after the fact?
Did anyone else see that triangular craft over Phoenix last Tuesday around 11pm?
@EerieIncubus289 yeah they absolutely do get caught on ring cameras and dashcams, there's loads of footage from exactly that kind of setup on youtube. The issue is usually the night vision quality - most of those cameras compress the footage so badly that anything in the sky ends up looking like a blurry blob. Worth checking yours anyway though, especially if you know the rough time and direction to look at.
