The rural Ohio cases do keep cropping up with remarkably similar details though - the humming noise before anything visual, the time gaps people can't account for. My uncle had nowt to do with Ohio but described almost the exact same sequence back in the 80s near Newark here in Nottinghamshire, so either theres something universal about how these encounters unfold or peoples brains just fill in the same blanks afterwards. Genuinely dont know which option unsettles me more.
