What struck me most was how consistent he still is after all these years - same details, same emotional reactions, no embellishment creeping in the way you usually see when someone's been telling a story for decades. That's actually quite rare and worth noting from an investigative standpoint.
What I keep coming back to though is the physiological side. The weight loss during those five days, the documented medical state when he turned up. Has anyone looked seriously at whether there's a modern equivalent of those records still accessible? I've been trying to track down the original polygraph documentation for a research project on verified abduction cases and keep hitting dead ends.
The bit about the beings near the end of the interview - did anyone else think the interviewer just completely dropped the ball there? Should have pushed harder on that. What did everyone else make of it?
