Watched it twice and yes, absolutely believed them. These aren't wide-eyed conspiracy types, they're career military pilots with decades of experience reading the sky and understanding what conventional aircraft can and cannot do. When Commander Fravor describes that tic-tac object accelerating from a dead stop to hypersonic speed with no visible propulsion or heat signature, there's no rational conventional explanation that holds water.
What gets me is the instrumentation corroboration. Multiple independent sensor platforms tracking the same object simultaneously, radar, infrared, visual confirmation from trained observers. In cryptozoology we'd kill for that quality of evidence on a Bigfoot sighting.
The bit that stuck with me most was when he said it mirrored his movements. That's not a weather balloon or a drone from a carrier group, thats intelligently controlled behaviour responding to a stimulus. Whether you attribute that to non-human intelligence or some black programme we dont know about yet is a separate debate, but dismissing the pilots themselves as unreliable witnesses seems genuinely daft to me. Anyone else notice how calm and almost reluctant they seemed? That reads as credible to me every single time.
