Did anyone else see a report about the Phoenix Lights coming back last week?

Caught a few clips on social media but couldn't find any proper news coverage, which is always suspicious to me. When the original event happened in '97 the media blackout was almost total until ordinary people started comparing notes. Makes you wonder if the same playbook is being run again.

Anyone got footage? The stuff I saw looked genuinely weird, the formation was too uniform to be flares or chinese lanterns, but the quality was terrible and you know how easy it is to fake these days.

I've been following Phoenix-area sightings for years and theres definitely been an uptick in reports out of Arizona since late last year. Could be related or could be coincidence but my gut says something is going on out there. What are people seeing on the ground locally?

@DustyOmen haven't seen the specific clips you're referring to, can you post links? That area does get a fair bit of activity and the V-formation sightings come up every few years, some genuine unknowns mixed in with military exercises out of Luke AFB.

The '97 blackout wasn't total though - the Arizona Republic ran the story pretty quickly after the governor's press conference, it was more that national media dragged their feet. Worth checking NUFORC and MUFON databases for recent Phoenix area submissions, they tend to log stuff within a day or two of reports coming in and you can filter by date. If something significant happened last week thered likely be multiple witness entries by now.

What were the clips actually showing - stationary lights in formation or moving objects? Makes a big difference in how you'd start investigating it.
