Didn't see it myself but a mate of mine drives through that area for work and he mentioned something similar about three weeks back - large dark shape moving along a field edge near the Long Mynd, gone before he could get his mobile out. He thought it was a dog at first but said the way it moved wasn't right. Too fluid, too low to the ground.
What I'd want to know is whether anyone got a size estimate relative to something in the background - a fence post, a vehicle, anything like that. That's usually where these sightings fall apart or get genuinely interesting. Eyewitness scale is notoriously unreliable but if multiple people independently put it at the same rough size that does carry some weight.
Anyone have photos or even a rough grid reference for where exactly they spotted it?
