Not my usual territory since I'm more of a black-eyed kids obsessive, but big cats in areas they shouldn't be are properly fascinating and honestly not that far removed from the "something's deeply wrong here" vibe that draws me to BEK cases.
Scotland gets these sightings constantly, the Beast of Exmoor, the Fen Tiger, we've got a whole culture of mystery cats over here so I find it dead interesting that the Ozarks keeps producing similar reports. Escaped exotic pets is the boring explanation everyone reaches for but it never fully accounts for the sheer number of consistent sightings over decades.
Anyone got photos or were you close enough to clock the size properly? The scale details always matter with these, a big domestic going feral looks very different to something genuinely out of place.
