Not my usual territory but I follow ABC (Alien Big Cat) reports pretty closely because the photographic evidence patterns overlap a lot with what I track in the UFO space - misidentification, poor lighting, witness credibility being trashed by default sceptics, all of it.
The Shropshire hills area has a solid history of sightings going back decades. What gets me is how consistent the descriptions are across completely unconnected witnesses. Black, large, low-slung gait, longer tail than any domestic cat. That consistency is actually meaningful data if you approach it properly.
Did the witness in the original sighting note the time of day? And was there any estimate of distance? Those two variables completely change how useful a report is for cross-referencing against other local sightings. I've seen people dismiss a genuinely compelling account because the witness said "about 200 yards" and someone decides thats not precise enough to take seriously.
Anyone else monitoring teh Shropshire / Welsh borders corridor? Feels like there's a cluster building in that region over the last 18 months or so.
