Wrong side of the Atlantic for me mate, but we've got our own big cat nonsense going on here on Dartmoor so I feel the pain. Blurry photo? Check. One credible witness everyone ignores? Check. Local news doing a "probably just a large dog" piece? Also check.
Genuinely curious what yours looked like though. The ones round here get described as panther-type, jet black, moving weird - like too fluid, if that makes sense. Does that match what people saw near you? Because if its the same description cropping up in completely different countries that starts to get interesting.
