Saw this mentioned on a couple of subreddits but nobody could agree on which town or exactly when it happened. Someone said Caliente, someone else said it was closer to Alamo. Either way the timing is suspicious because there were reports around the same period of unmarked vehicles spotted on the back roads out there, which I only know because I follow a few locals on Twitter who were posting about it.
The thing that gets me is when you look up the FAA notices for that area there's just... nothing. Like the restriction existed but the paperwork is vague to the point of being useless. "Military operations" doesn't cut it as an explanation when its a civilian town underneath the restricted zone.
Has anyone actually managed to pull the full NOTAM data for that period? Genuinely curious if anyone here has the tools to dig into that properly because I'm working with basic free sites and I keep hitting dead ends.
