Right so I was tracking this on FlightRadar24 when someone flagged it in the Discord and the restricted zone was noticeably larger than the usual Nellis boundary. Like, significantly. My mate who does aviation stuff said the NOTAM filed for it was vague in a way that apparently isn't standard procedure, even for that area.
What gets me is the timing. There were those weird boom reports coming out of Tonopah around the same week and nobody in mainstream channels even connected them. I've been down enough rabbit holes with classified aerospace testing to know that sometimes the cover story is just... the absence of any story at all. They don't bother lying, they just say nothing and most people move on.
Anyone else actually log the coordinates or save the FlightRadar data from that period? These things have a habit of quietly disappearing from archives. Would love to compare notes on what people actually captured vs what's visible now.
