Noticed this too. There were three separate TFRs filed within about a 10 day window, which is unusual even for that area. The stated reason was "security" which tells you nothing obviously.
What I'm trying to work out is whether the restrictions correlated with anything trackable - military movements, satellite passes, that sort of thing. Has anyone actually cross-referenced the TFR timestamps against ADS-B data from nearby commercial traffic? You can pull historical data from FlightAware and it would at least tell you if anything was being actively rerouted rather than just restricted on paper.
The cynical read is its routine and the timing is coincidence. But three in 10 days for the same rough grid area does seem worth mapping properly. Anyone done the legwork on this or are we all just speculating at this point?
