Yeah I caught that. Pulled up the FAA NOTAM data the same day it dropped and the restricted airspace popped up pretty much out of nowhere, no scheduled exercise listed, no explanation attached to it.
Whats interesting to me is the timing. That whole area had some unusual ground activity reported on a couple of monitoring sites the week before, and then suddenly the airspace goes dark. That pattern isnt random, you see that same thing happen around Dugway and a few spots in New Mexico too.
I've been mapping these restriction windows against known ley convergence points for a while now and Nevada is showing up more than it probably should. Might be coincidence but I doubt it.
Anyone got the exact coordinates of the restricted zone? I want to cross reference it with some data I've been sitting on. Would appreciate if someone could post teh NOTAM number too if they have it.
