Mate I saw this and nearly spat my tea out. The TFR just appeared with no NOTAM explanation, no military exercise listed, nothing. I've been cross-referencing it with some ADS-B data from that night and there were definitely aircraft operating in that corridor that weren't squawking anything identifiable.
The bit that gets me is the timing - it went up for roughly four hours and then vanished like it was never there. No press, no explanation, no follow-up. If it was a routine test flight out of Nellis they usually at least slap a vague "military operations" label on it.
Anyone else been digging into this? Would love to know if anyone on here has contacts who monitor that region regularly.
