Did anyone else notice the FAA flight restriction that popped up over Dugway last month with zero explanation?

Yeah I clocked this actually. Was cross-referencing some ADS-B data at the time and the TFR just appeared with no NOTAM explanation beyond the usual vague "national security" wording. Dugway always has restricted airspace obviously but this was an additional layer on top of the existing restricted zones which caught my attention.

What gets me is the timing. There were a few reports coming out of the Utah UFO watchers groups around the same period - nothing concrete, just increased activity claims near the western range. Could be coincidence.

I do a fair bit of EVP work but I follow the airspace stuff because it often correlates with other weirdness. Skinwalker Ranch gets all the attention but Dugway is the one that should be keeping people up at night if you ask me. The testing history alone is enough, never mind what might still be going on out there.

Anyone got the exact dates logged? I want to cross reference against some other data I've been sitting on.

Not familiar with Dugway specifically but we had something similar over Dartmoor a couple years back, small unmarked restriction zone appeared on the maps for about 3 weeks then just vanished. No explanation given. Is there a good free tool for tracking these TFRs historically? I want to go back and look at whether anything odd was happening around Princetown at the same time we had some unusual lights reported on the moor.

Not my usual stomping ground but the Dartmoor one @TheBusDriver702 mentioned rings a bell - I think there was some chatter about that on another forum around the same time. With Dugway specifically though the lack of a proper NOTAM is the interesting bit, they usually at least give you a radius and duration even if the reason is vague. Was the restriction showing any transponder traffic during the window or was it completely clean airspace on ADS-B?
