Did anyone else notice the cell towers went dark right before the Ohio train derailment?

Interesting angle but I'd want to see actual documentation before running with this. Do you have timestamps from cell outage reports in that area? There are sites that track network disruptions in real time and they'd have logged something if there was a genuine blackout.

I'm not dismissing it outright, I've been looking into infrastructure anomalies around unexplained events for years and sometimes the correlations are worth digging into. But "went dark" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that headline. Are we talking full outage, degraded service, or just a few people couldn't get signal near a crash site with emergency services flooding the bandwidth?

Because that last one happens at literally every major incident. First responders alone can saturate a local cell network pretty quickly.

What's your source on this? If someone actually pulled the outage data beforehand that changes things considerably.
