Right so I'm usually the first to roll my eyes at this kind of thing but I did actually go down this rabbit hole a while back and the cell tower angle is worth at least looking at properly before dismissing it.
The thing is though, towers going offline during a major disaster isn't automatically suspicious - they get knocked out by heat, power cuts, physical damage. It's a boring explanation but it's usually the right one.
What I'd want to know is whether there's any documented evidence of them going dark BEFORE the fires reached those areas, not just during. That's teh bit that would actually matter. Anyone got timestamps or anything solid rather than just word of mouth? Because without that it's just vibes and I've recorded enough dodgy EVP sessions to know how easy it is to hear what you want to hear.
