Noticed this doing the rounds on a few other forums and honestly the timing is too convenient to just wave off. Cell outages right before a major incident is one of those things that keeps popping up in disaster events and nobody ever gets a straight answer about why.
Would be interesting to cross-reference the exact timestamps from the outage reports against when the emergency calls started coming in, because if theres a gap there that's a proper red flag. Anyone actually done that legwork yet or are we still at the "my mate shared a screenshot" stage of the investigation lol.
Not saying I've got it figured out but the Ohio derailment had so many weird layers to it already - the chemical burn off, the media blackout period, residents being told to go home when they clearly shouldn't have - that adding comms infrastructure into the mix doesn't feel like a stretch at all. What have others actually found from primary sources rather than just the viral posts?
