Never been out Barstow way myself but I've read enough accounts to know that stretch of 58 gets mentioned a lot. More than you'd expect for a random bit of highway.
What I will say is that "lost time" reports tend to cluster around specific geographical features and nobody in the mainstream wants to touch that observation with a bargepole. I've noticed the same thing with crop circle locations back home - there's often something about the land itself, the geology, whatever, that seems to matter.
What actually happened to you? Because there's a big difference between "I felt weird and the clock seemed off" and "I pulled over at 9pm and it was suddenly 1am with no explanation." Details matter. People on here sometimes bundle very different experiences under the same label and it muddies the water for everyone trying to take this seriously.
Anyone else got specific data points on 58? Dates, times, weather conditions. That sort of thing is actually useful.
