Didn't drive Route 9 that night but this kind of thing happens way more than people realise. The lost time element is what always gets me, its such a specific and weird detail that keeps coming up in abduction cases.
Was it a gradual thing where you just noticed you'd arrived home later than expected, or did you actually have a moment of like... suddenly being further down the road than you should have been? That second one is reported a lot.
Any other details you remember? Lights, unusual sounds, feeling strange afterwards? I read a case from Wiltshire a few years back that sounds similar and the bloke had a nosebleed when he got home that he couldn't explain. Would be good to compare notes with others who were out that way Thursday.
