Interesting thread. I'm not really an abduction researcher - my background is more poltergeist activity - but I do think the "missing time" reports that cluster around specific road sections are worth taking seriously from an investigative standpoint.
The thing that gets me is when multiple people report the same stretch independently without knowing about each other. That's the detail that separates something genuinely anomalous from a single person having a microsleep or a dissociative episode. Both of which are far more common explanations than people want to admit.
What time exactly were you driving? And did you notice anything in the hours after - headache, unusual thirst, disorientation that persisted? Those physiological markers are what I'd be looking at first before jumping to conclusions either way.
Has anyone else on this thread actually driven Route 9 on Thursday or is it just the OP so far? Need more than one data point to rule out mundane explanations.
