Blimey. I live nowhere near Route 9 but this is exactly the kind of report I've been looking for. What stretch was it and roughly what time? Those details matter more than people think.
Had a similar thing happen to me on the A59 a few years back, nothing as dramatic as a full abduction account but I lost about 20 minutes I genuinely cannot explain and felt completely drained afterwards. The Pendle area has a weird history anyway so I always assumed it was localised but maybe its more widespread than that.
Anyone else in this thread experience the classic physical symptoms after? Nosebleed, marks on the skin, that odd metallic taste. Would help narrow down whether this is time slip territory or something more contact-related. Two very different things in my view and people mix them up constantly which does my head in.
