Didn't drive Route 9 that night but this kind of thing gets me every time. Lost time experiences in cars are way more common than people realise and I don't think they get taken seriously enough on here.
Was it just the one stretch of road or did it feel like it happened at a specific point? Like did you notice a landmark before and after and the gap just doesn't add up? That detail matters a lot from what I've read.
I had a mate near Preston who had something similar on a rural A road a few years back, pulled over feeling completely disoriented, no idea how 40 minutes had passed. Never got a satisfying explanation for it.
Anyone else in this thread actually been on Route 9 regularly? Would be good to know if this is a one-off or if thats a stretch of road with a pattern to it.
