Did anyone else hear about the old Hargrove textile mill in Greensboro being torn down? Workers are refusing to go back

Right so I only just heard about this and I'm already obsessed. Workers refusing to go back is the bit that gets me - that's not just "ooh spooky vibes", that's people walking off a job and presumably losing money over it. People don't do that over nothing.

Anyone got details on what actually happened on site? Like was it specific incidents or just a general feeling of dread type situation. I've read a bit about old textile mills in general and they've got grim histories, long hours, accidents, people dying on the machinery, all that. The kind of place that could hold onto something nasty for decades.

Also curious whether the demolition itself stirred anything up. In my experience - not that I've got loads - disturbing old buildings seems to shake things loose. Would love to know if anyone local to Greensboro has been following this or knows someone who worked there.
