Never happened to me personally but I've photographed some genuinely weird light anomalies on rural roads around the Peak District and you start to notice patterns - certain stretches just attract the odd stuff more than others. The missing time element is what gets me though, that's not something you can explain away as lens flare or a passing lorry. Anyone who's experienced it, did you feel disoriented before the gap happened or did it just cut straight from one moment to the next with no warning? I've read accounts where people describe a sort of pressure in the ears right before, curious if thats consistent with what others here have felt. Comparing notes on the physical sensations might actually be more useful than debating whether the lights where alien or natural phenomena.
Did anyone else have missing time after seeing lights near their car on a rural road?
