Never been to Waverly Hills myself but I've done enough location work to know that "weird feeling near the boiler room" is basically a universal haunt experience - practically every location with an old boiler or utility space throws people off. Could be infrasound from old pipe resonance, could be something else entirely.
That said I'm not dismissing it. Some of my best Bigfoot fieldwork has taught me that your gut reaction to a space is worth logging properly. What exactly did you feel - nausea, dread, pressure in the ears? Because those point to very different causes and it matters.
Anyone else who visited, was it consistent across the group or just one or two people? That distinction is massive when you're trying to rule out suggestion and groupthink.
