Did anyone else feel that cold spot near the back staircase at Waverly Hills?

Been to Waverly twice now and that staircase area is genuinely unsettling both times. The cold spot wasn't subtle either - we're talking a proper temperature drop, not just a draught from a window. My mate had a thermometer and we logged something like an 8 degree difference within about a metre of space.

What I keep coming back to though is whether anyone else noticed it seemed to move? Like it wasn't fixed in one spot. We tracked it shifting maybe two or three feet over about 20 minutes which doesn't fit the usual "cold air pools in corners" explanation very well.

Did anyone experience anything auditory near that same area? We caught what sounded like footsteps on the floor above when our group was the only one up there. Curious if thats a common report or just us.

Never been to Waverly myself but cold spots near staircases are interesting because theres always the sceptic argument about stack effect - basically warm air rising pulls cold air in from lower floors and it pools in certain spots. Worth ruling that out before you go full paranormal with it.

That said, I've read accounts from Waverly going back years and that staircase keeps coming up repeatedly from people who had no contact with each other beforehand. When the same specific location gets flagged independently like that it does make you sit up a bit. Did you have any equipment running at the time, or just the physical sensation?
