Wasn't there last weekend but I've been to Pennhurst twice and the basement is genuinely one of the strangest places I've ever stood in. Not in a dramatic way, more like a pressure thing - like the air is thicker or something. Hard to explain without sounding like an idiot.
What specifically did you feel though? Because I'm curious whether it's consistent between visitors or just people convincing themselves because of the history. I've seen too many "investigations" where someone shivers and suddenly it's proof of a haunting.
The building has a brutal past obviously and I do think that can leave something behind, but I want to know if what you experienced matches anything documented or if there's a pattern across multiple visits. Anyone got readings from that area?
