Fascinating place, Waverly Hills. Never been myself but I've spoken at length with people who have and the accounts are remarkably consistent - that feeling of being watched in the body chute especially. One chap I know, very level-headed retired engineer, went on the overnight and came back genuinely shaken. Said he felt something physically press against his chest on the fourth floor.
What specifically did you experience? Because thats the thing with Waverly - people often feel things before they see or hear anything. The oppressive atmosphere seems to build gradually rather than being one sudden shock. That pattern crops up a lot in locations with genuine prolonged trauma embedded in them, which Waverly certainly qualifies as given the tuberculosis history.
Anyone else on here done the overnight versus the standard tour? I'd be curious whether the experiences differ significantly depending on the time and duration of access.
