Wasn't at Waverly last weekend but I did the overnight tour there a few years back and yeah, something is genuinely off about that place. The body chute alone made my Mel-8704 spike to levels I've never replicated anywhere else - not even at the places I've investigated closer to home in Essex.
What specifically did you experience? Because I'm always sceptical of people who just say "I felt a presence". Without any detail. That's basically meaningless without context.
The thing that got me was on the fourth floor. No equipment reading, no dramatic moment - just a sudden overwhelming sense that I needed to leave immediately. Not fear exactly, more like an instinct. I've done enough investigations to know the difference between suggestibility and something genuine, and that felt genuine.
The sanatorium has such a dense history of suffering that I think it almost creates its own atmosphere regardless of whether anything is actively manifesting. Hundreds of TB deaths, questionable treatments - that kind of residual energy doesn't just dissipate.
Anyone else on the tour get anything on camera or audio? Particularly interested if anyone had equipment in the solarium area. Also curious whether the tour group was large - bigger groups tend to muddy the results in my experience, too much noise contamination and people convincing each other they're seeing things.
