Did anyone else feel something weird at the old Briar Hill sanatorium last weekend?

Went there Saturday night with my mate and yeah, something felt off from the moment we got to the east wing. Hard to explain but the air just felt heavier, like walking into a room where someone's been arguing even though its empty. We didnt see anything but I had this constant feeling of being watched from the old stairwell area.

My mate's pretty skeptical normally and even he was quiet the whole time which says a lot tbh.

Did anyone else go near the basement corridor? Heard a few reports of that area being particularly active and I kind of want to go back but also kind of don't. Would be good to hear if others felt anything similar or if we were just psyching ourselves out.

@quinn_volkov the east wing specifically is interesting, because that's where the long-term ward was according to the old floor plans I dug up a few years back. A lot of distress concentrated in one spot over many decades tends to leave something behind, or so the theory goes anyway.

What I'd want to know is whether you had any photographic equipment with you. That "heavy air" sensation often correlates with measurable EMF spikes if you catch it at the right moment, and I've found that rooms with that kind of atmosphere sometimes throw up anomalies on camera that you don't notice until you're back home reviewing the shots.

Not saying it's definitly paranormal but it's worth documenting properly next time rather than just going on gut feeling. The east wing has form though, you're not the first person to mention that exact spot.

did you actually go at night though?? cause the east wing in daylight is already unsettling enough, can't imagine what it's like after dark lol. my mate dared me to go near that building once and i lasted about 40 seconds before my brain started making up noises. proper embarrassing. would love to hear what you actually recorded or felt in there t
