Wasn't at Briar Hill last weekend but I've been there twice before and both times felt properly off. First visit nothing much happened, but second time me and a mate both got this heavy feeling in the old east wing - like pressure behind the eyes, almost dizzy. Classic infrasound territory some would say, but the building's been derelict long enough that I doubt there's anything mechanical still running in there.
Did you get anything on equipment? I was running a basic K-II meter and it went absolutely mental near what used to be the isolation rooms. My mate had a temperature gun and we clocked a cold spot that was a good 4-5 degrees below the surrounding corridor. Hard to explain that away as drafts tbh.
What time were you there? I find late night visits (after midnight especially) tend to produce more activity - no idea if that's psychological or something else entirely. There's definitely something lingering in that place, whether it's residual energy, an actual presence, or just the weight of the history there.
Would love to hear what others experienced, especially if anyone's been recently. The place has apparently changed a bit since they fenced off part of the grounds. Anyone know if the upper floors are still accessible?
