Never been to that specific spot but old mansions like that almost always have something going on, its basically guaranteed at this point lol. The architecture alone from that era tends to attract activity, or at least that's what the evidence suggests.
What did you actually feel though? Because there's a massive difference between that classic "someone's watching you" sensation and actual physical stuff like temperature drops or pressure changes. People lump them all together and it drives me mental.
I've done a fair few locations round South Wales over the years and the ones that genuinely get under your skin are always the ones where multiple people independently report the same thing without comparing notes first. So if others in your group felt it too without you prompting them, that's worth paying attention to.
