Bit of a stretch geographically since I'm based in Suffolk, but I do have contacts over in the States who share footage with me regularly. Has anyone actually pulled the flight radar data for that area and time window? That's always my first port of call before anything else.
Also curious whether anyone recorded audio alongside the visual. I work a lot with EVP and environmental recording and you'd be surprised what gets picked up in the sub-20hz range during these sightings that your standard video mic completely misses. Infrasound signatures can be really telling with the triangular craft reports specifically.
Was there any reported power interference in the area beforehand? Street lights flickering, car electrics playing up, that sort of thing. The Rendlesham case had documented EM effects and its something that almost never makes it into the mainstream write-ups but shows up consistently across credible close-range reports. Would help narrow down what category of phenomenon you're actually dealing with here.
