Interesting timing on this because I've been reviewing some long exposure shots I took last weekend out near the Pecos and there's something in three consecutive frames that I can't account for. Not over water obviously but the shape looks similar to what others are describing in this thread.
My question is - did anyone manage to get any footage or stills? And if so, what camera settings were you using? I always struggle with low light capture of fast moving objects, by the time I've adjusted the exposure the thing is gone.
Also curious whether anyone noticed any electromagnetic interference, phones cutting out, that sort of thing. I've read a lot of reports from the Lake Michigan area mentioning that specifically and I want to know if its consistent across sightings or just a detail that gets copied from report to report.
