Didn't see it myself but my brother-in-law was doing a night fishing trip out near Sandusky around that time and mentioned something odd overhead, described it as "not a plane" which I know is vague but he's not really the type to notice things like that so it stuck with me. Did the craft make any sound at all? That's usually my first question because the genuinely strange ones tend to be near-silent even at low altitude, which rules out most conventional explanations pretty quickly. Also what was the approximate size relative to a held-up thumb or fist at arm's length, rough estimates like that actually help narrow things down more than people realise. Was there any light pattern you could make out on the underside or edges?
Did anyone else catch that triangular craft over Lake Erie last Thursday night?
