Right then, drop the photo mate because I've been waiting my whole life for someone in this forum to actually have trail cam footage worth arguing about.
We get a lot of "definitely not a coyote" posts that turn out to be a very embarrassed looking labrador, so the bar is set fairly low but the hope is always high. That said I've seen some genuinely weird stuff over the years - back in 2019 I had a bloke from Suffolk send me footage of something moving on two legs through a field at 3am and we never did properly ID it.
What region are you in? That makes a massive difference to what we're even dealing with here. A mystery animal in the Scottish Highlands is a very different conversation to one in, say, Ohio.
