Can we get a seasonal events calendar to the sidebar?

Hey mods, small feature request: Would it be possible to add a seasonal events calendar to the sidebar? I'm thinking key dates that might be relevant to paranormal activity according to various traditions - solstices, equinoxes, Samhain, Beltane, new moons, etc.

The reason I ask is that I've noticed discussion threads spike around these dates and it would be helpful to have them visible so people planning investigations can coordinate better. Also might help prevent duplicate threads asking 'is anyone else noticing activity on [date]?' when it's actually just that a lot of us are paying attention on significant dates.

Would be a relatively simple addition and might improve the quality of discussion during these periods. Just a thought!

Good idea actually. You'd probably want both astronomical dates (solstices, equinoxes, lunar phases) and cultural/historical ones (Samhain, Beltane, etc) with the caveat that these don't necessarily mean anything but that people are interested in tracking them. Fair and balanced approach.

Bit of a nightmare coding-wise probably but yeah, nice thought. Would definitely cut down on the repetitive 'is anyone experiencing activity tonight' threads. Maybe collapsible so it doesn't clutter things up.

Agree - would also be useful for people scheduling investigations or location visits. You could plan around peak times if you wanted activity or avoid them if you wanted quiet research.
