Borley Rectory - Is there finally going to be an official investigation?

I saw some news recently that a research team might be getting proper access to the Borley Rectory site next spring for a properly documented investigation. Has anyone else heard about this? I've been fascinated by Borley for years but all the historical accounts are a bit muddled by time and exaggeration.

The site's been largely inaccessible for the public for ages, and a lot of the original documentation is disputed or lost. If there's finally going to be a rigorous modern investigation with proper equipment and methodology, that could actually settle some of the more outlandish claims.

I'm thinking about applying to volunteer on the investigation if it's legitimate. Anyone got more information about what's actually happening there? Also keen to hear from people who've visited - what did you experience?

Haven't heard anything concrete but I'd be incredibly suspicious of any team claiming they can 'finally solve' Borley. The problem is most of the original claims were documented by Harry Price who was known to exaggerate and potentially hoax evidence. We're working with contaminated data.

I visited Borley in 2019 when it was still partially accessible. Felt absolutely nothing. The site is deeply unremarkable honestly. Beautiful location but no sense of haunting whatsoever. Either the energy dissipated or the whole thing was bullshit from the start.

If this is genuine I'd like the contact details for the research team. Borley's historical significance alone makes it worth documenting properly, regardless of whether paranormal activity is ongoing.

Borley Rectory is essentially paranormal folklore at this point. The original house is gone. We're investigating an absence and a legend. That doesn't mean it's not worth studying - legend and perception are real - but I'd temper expectations about 'finally proving' anything.
