I saw some news recently that a research team might be getting proper access to the Borley Rectory site next spring for a properly documented investigation. Has anyone else heard about this? I've been fascinated by Borley for years but all the historical accounts are a bit muddled by time and exaggeration.
The site's been largely inaccessible for the public for ages, and a lot of the original documentation is disputed or lost. If there's finally going to be a rigorous modern investigation with proper equipment and methodology, that could actually settle some of the more outlandish claims.
I'm thinking about applying to volunteer on the investigation if it's legitimate. Anyone got more information about what's actually happening there? Also keen to hear from people who've visited - what did you experience?
