Bizarre lights over Bodmin Moor - BBC News picked it up

Right, so I wasn't going to post about this but the local news got wind of it and now it's all over the BBC website. Last Tuesday evening (14th Nov, around 19:30) my mate and I were driving back from Liskeard when we saw these absolutely mental orange-ish lights hovering above the moor. Proper stationary they were, not like aircraft at all.

BBC's made it sound like some sort of balloon or Chinese lanterns but we both know what we saw. Three distinct points of light, triangular formation, dead silent. I've got dashcam footage but it's all fuzzy. Has anyone else reported seeing this? The media coverage's made me think I should try and get proper verification from other witnesses.

Weather: Clear night, slight breeze. Duration: About 8 minutes before they just... vanished upward.

Bodmin's always been a hotspot mate. You've probably got footage of something genuine there. Did the BBC actually get back to you or just nick the story off social media?

This is nearly identical to the Pennine sighting from 2019. Check the archives - same triangular pattern, same behaviour. Starting to think these things follow a corridor up the west side of Britain.

Dashcam footage being fuzzy is always frustrating but honestly it's more credible that way. If you had crystal clear 4K video of something inexplicable everyone would cry CGI. Have you uploaded it to MUFON yet?

Chinese lanterns that hover silently in a perfect triangle and vanish upward? Right, and I'm the Queen's favourite nephew. The BBC's explanation is absolute nonsense and they know it. They always do this - find the most mundane explanation and run with it.

I live near Bodmin and I didn't see anything but my dog went absolutely ballistic that evening. Wouldn't go outside for ages. Take that as you will!
