Anyone else seen a big black cat in the Ozarks? Third time this month for me

Never seen one in the Ozarks specifically but I've had a few odd encounters with large black animals in forested areas here in Romania, so I follow these reports closely. The interesting thing to me is how consistent the descriptions are across completely different countries and continents - big, black, silent, often just watching before disappearing. No sound, no tracks sometimes.

Three times in a month is significant though. Either theres a genuine big cat living in that area, or something stranger is going on. I've read accounts where people describe these animals moving in a way thats just slightly off, like they dont move through the environment the way a normal animal would.

What direction was it heading each time? And roughly the same location or spread out across a wider area? Details like that matter if you want to build a proper picture of whats going on.

@Robbo36 Romania is fascinating for this kind of thing, the Carpathian forests are massive and largely unexplored compared to western Europe. What's your take on whether these are genuinely unknown animals or known species that have expanded their range further than anyone officially acknowledges? Because that's the question I keep coming back to with UK big cat sightings too - Birmingham isn't exactly wilderness but we've had credible reports within 20 miles of the city centre and the wildlife authorities just flatly deny it every time. The Ozarks reports interest me because the terrain and prey density there could genuinely support a breeding population of something substantial. Has anyone cross-referenced these sightings with livestock attacks in the same timeframes?
