Not my area at all - I'm more of a ley lines and Mothman person - but big black cat sightings genuinely fascinate me because they follow such a predictable pattern. Credible witnesses, multiple sightings in a short window, then nothing for months. Same thing happens over here in the UK constantly, the Beast of Bodmin stuff and all that.
What I always want to know is whether anyone's mapped the sighting locations. Not just pinned them on Google Maps but actually looked at whether they follow any kind of geographical pattern. Could be territory, could be something weirder. When I started plotting Mothman reports years ago I noticed clusters that didn't match up with random animal movement at all.
Has anyone in this thread got actual coordinates or even rough locations for all three sightings? Would be worth overlaying them on a terrain map at minimum. Also curious if the witnesses are describing the same size animal or if theres variation - that'd tell you a lot about whether its one cat or more.
