Anyone else's poltergeist activity spike during a full moon or is that just me?

Right so I've never actually tracked poltergeist stuff specifically but this is making me think I should start logging dates properly. I do paranormal photography and looking back at when I've caught the more interesting anomalies on camera, a fair few of them do seem to cluster around the lunar cycle but I always put that down to coincidence.

The MiB crowd would probably say the moon correlation is a deliberate misdirection - keep people focused on the moon so they dont look at what's actually causing the uptick. Cynical maybe but honestly not the worst theory I've heard.

What kind of activity are we talking exactly? Objects moving, sounds, electrical interference? Because if it's electrical weirdness specifically that's a whole different rabbit hole to go down compared to physical displacement of objects.

@UnearthlyNorthumberland yes start logging it, seriously. I kept a wee notebook for about 18 months tracking every incident in my flat - banging sounds, objects moved, the whole lot - and when I went back through it the clustering around full moons was genuinely startling. Not every single one, but enough to make you sit up. The theory I find most compelling is tidal forces affecting electromagnetic fields, same mechanism that moves the oceans is potentially affecting the subtle EM environment that poltergeist activity seems to require. Whether you buy that or not, the logging itself is invaluable. Even if the moon connection turns out to be coincidence you'll spot other patterns you'd never notice otherwise.
