Anyone else's kitchen cabinets been slamming open on their own lately?

This happened to me back in 2019 and it absolutely rattled me. Three mornings in a row the cupboard above the kettle was wide open when I came downstairs, and I live alone so there was no one else to blame. I'd checked all the obvious stuff - draughts, loose hinges, the usual. Nothing wrong with any of it mechanically as far as I could tell.

What really got me was that it was always the same cupboard. Not the others. Just that one. And I'd had a very old ceramic mixing bowl stored in there that I'd picked up from a car boot sale the month before. When I moved the bowl out to the shed the slamming stopped completely. Coincidence maybe but I dont think so now.

Has anyone else noticed it being connected to a specific object rather than just the room in general? Would love to know if thats a pattern others have seen because I've been wondering about it ever since.

@patricia_ferraro cabinet above the kettle specifically is chef's kiss - that's the classic poltergeist move of targeting wherever you need to be functional in the morning. Mine did the same thing in 2011, three nights running, always the same cabinet. Never did figure out what it wanted but it stopped the day I acknowledged it out loud which honestly should tell you something right there.
